Why Ibrahimovic Will Get Extra Holiday During International Break – Mourinho

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, has revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be given extra holiday over the international break.

The Swedish striker has started his career in England on an impressive note, scoring in the Community Shield match and three times in three league fixtures. Ibrahimovic has retired from international football after the 2016 European Championship, but Mourinho is eager to protect the player. “At 34 years old, you need to rest. You cannot play 70 matches a season.

So I give the other guys, who are not selected for the national teams, two days — and I give four days to Zlatan,” Mourinho said.“I give holidays a la carte. It depends on the situation. And he is playing every match, every minute. So four matches, he played 360 minutes — four days off for the big guy.”
